How the training is structured:
-Focus on the ASQ Body of Knowledge.  The Body of Knowledge for a specific exam is the
 roadmap for what will be covered on the exam.
-Focus on the cognitive level at which questions will be asked.  Some of the material you only
 need to be familiar with and some you will need to know very well.  The cognitive level is
 defined by ASQ in the Body of knowledge and is based on Bloom's Taxonomy.  There are six 
 cognitive levels.  Here is an example of the six levels and what type of questions are
 associated with each level.  The levels are in order from least complex to most complex.  The
 following examples deal with team development.
    
    Remember - Ability to recognize and recall  
        What are the four phases of team development?

    Understand -Ability to explain
        Explain the four phases of team development      

    Apply - Know how to use and apply the ideas
        Which phase of team development is most demanding of a facilitator?

    Analyze - Break down the information into the constituent parts and understand
        their relationship
        If the team is not productive, which phase of development are they in?

    Evaluate- Make judgements about the value of proposed ideas or solutions
        Which of the following is most important to team development?        

    Create - Put parts or elements together in such a way to reveal a structure 
                not evident before
        How would you help to guide a team from the storming to norming phase?

We put a significant emphasis on breakout sessions and testing to provide an engaging environment that effectively prepares you for the Certified Quality Engineer exam. 

Certified Quality Auditor - CQA
The certified quality auditor course prepares you to pass the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor Exam, which is offered each June and December.   This course is comprised of a total of about 20 hours of class time.  We offer a variety of times and dates for the training in order to accommodate a wide range of schedules.  We can find a class that will be convenient for you.  The class is a mixture of lecture, breakout sessions and testing. We put a significant emphasis on breakout sessions and testing to provide an engaging environment that effectively prepares you for the Certified Quality Auditor exam.

Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence - CMQ/OE
The certified quality manager course prepares you to pass the ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/ Organizational Excellence Exam, which is offered each March and October. This course is comprised of a total of about 20 hours of class time.   We offer a variety of times and dates for the training in order to accommodate a wide range of schedules.
