How it works
You would request the training and we send you an email requesting you register for the training. Upon registration, you will be sent an email accepting and confirming your registration. This email also contains a password and a link to enter the training. Once you enter the training via the internet connection you call a toll free number and gain access to the conference call. Now you are connected both with audio and visual. Prior to the training each participant will be given a test. The purpose of the test is to let us know your level of understanding of the material and what areas need work. There will be a test given at the end of the course to confirm you successfully learned and can apply the material and confirms the training was effective. The training is conducted by displaying various presentation materials (books, manuals, etc.) along with work on the whiteboard. The training is designed to be engaging. After about 20 minutes of lecture there will be an exercise, quiz or breakout session to reinforce the topics covered.
Requirements:
The only items you need is access to a computer with a high speed internet connection and a phone. A speakerphone would be a big asset as it would allow for your hands to be free during the presentation.
Recertification Units
Each class provides recertification units (RU) that amount to .1 RU per hour of class. If the class is 24 hrs you would be given a certificate indicating you earned 2.4 RU’s. .
